Rocky Reach Trail
NOTE: As of March 25, 2020, ALL WASHINGTON STATE PARKS ARE CLOSED for concerns related to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This includes the Rocky Reach Trail and Lincoln Rock State Park.

The Rocky Reach Trail is a 5 mile trail along the east shore of the Columbia River in Douglas County, north central Washington State. The Rocky Reach Trail connects Lincoln Rock State Park and Confluence State Park with the Apple Capital Loop Trail, and the Wenatchee Valley riverfront parks in both Douglas and Chelan counties. The trail provides pedestrian and bicycle transportation as an alternative to busy highways and also benefits area tourism by expanding recreational opportunities along the Columbia River. The Rocky Reach Trail includes four interpretive stations and is paved and handicap accessible for all nonmotorized users.

The trail was completed in 2015 after over 20 years of effort and legal battles led by the Complete the Loop Coalition. Built entirely on public property owned by the WA Dept. of Transportation and the Chelan County PUD, the multi-phase project was funded by grant support from the Chelan County Public Utility District, recreational funds from the Washington State legislature, and donations from the Complete the Loop Coalition and multiple private donors.
